Welcome to Talcen Foel Cottage.
Nestled at the foot of Anelog mountain, with breathtaking sea and mountain views,Talcen Foel is the perfect secluded getaway location at the Lands End of Wales. Grade two listed, it was renovated into comfortable accommodation in the 1990’s, whilst still retaining traditional characteristics.
A self catering cottage sleeping up to 4 guests, Talcen Foel offers a comfortable living/dining area with views towards the Irish Sea and the Wicklow Mountains on a clear day. A log burner provides a cosy and relaxing atmosphere for curling up with a good book, or to binge watch the latest box set via the smart tv.
A well equipped kitchen also provides a dining area, with background heat supplied by the Stanley range. Above the kitchen is a traditional ‘crog loft’ accessed via a wooden ladder, offering a quiet reading area. The ‘crog loft’ also has a freeview tv with Wii games console and feature led lighting. The bathroom has a bath with overhead shower and heated towel rail.
Bedroom one is a comfortable King size double with crisp Egyptian cotton bedding and traditional Welsh woollen blanket. The view is towards Mynydd Mawr and out to the Irish Sea. Bedroom two, has two single beds, with double aspect windows with views to Anelog.
To the rear of the property is a patio area with views over the surrounding fields, and out to sea. A small bbq is available for those sunny evenings, and a fire pit for warmth to accompany a glass of wine whilst watching the sun setting over the sea.
Talcen Foel is just ten minutes from Aberdaron village, with its well stocked Spar shop, excellent bakery, pubs, café’s and fish and chip shop. The area has many great beaches and coves ideal for swimmers, surfers and anglers alike, and has direct access to the Wales Coastal Path.
